About the role
- Senior Analyst Finance improving financial performance and driving projects in EMEA at Arc'teryx. Collaborating cross-functionally to analyze data and prepare financial insights and reports.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, forecasting, and reporting for EMEA regional P&L
- Contribute to strengthening a high‑performing Finance function by collaborating and sharing expertise
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the 5‑year long‑range plan
- Support the annual planning cycle through data analysis, consolidation, assumption validation
- Participate in sales and financial performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and business trends
- Prepare insights and materials for financial presentations
- Support SG&A and operating expense planning and reporting
- Collaborate with Group Shared Services and Brand HQ Accounting for accurate close processes
- Assist in improving EMEA-specific accounting and reporting capabilities
- Prepare quantitative analyses for budget, forecast, and performance reviews
- Support preparation of financial performance updates for Brand HQ Finance team
- Contribute to investment and capital spending analyses
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Finance, ideally within retail or fast‑paced, multi‑unit environment
- University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, CMA, or MBA is an asset
- Exceptional analytical and modeling skills and knowledge of financial statements
- International business experience or experience in a global, matrixed organization
- Ability to support and drive projects across an organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with BI tools and multi-platform, multi-currency environments
- Familiarity with global ERPs (such as SAP) and financial planning tools (ie: Oracle)
- Proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions
