Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team of engineers to develop proven designs based on system performance and operational specifications
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and power design products
- Resolve production issues related to existing product designs
- Provide support to production, integration, and test activities
- Perform design, test, and production support work within the bounds of a given schedule
- Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff
- Engage in personal technical growth, and facilitate technical growth in peers
- Lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution
- Travel to Tewksbury, MA; Marlborough, MA; Andover, MA; Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH may be required depending on the assignment
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Design, test, and/or production experience with analog or power electronics, power systems, power conversion, power distribution, power sub-system design and/or control systems
- Experience in modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools
