About the role
- Intern supporting Engine Design and Systems Integration at Pratt & Whitney. Supporting design integration activities and project management in a multi-functional engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Support system design integration and requirement management activities.
- Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training.
- Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
- Support project management activities.
- Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge in Thermodynamics and Fluids Mechanics.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Understanding of gas turbine jet engines.
- Knowledge in C++, Python, MATLAB or VBA programming.
- Knowledge in Data Analytics or Machine Learning.
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
