Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients in developing and executing intellectual property strategies for key technologies and programs
- Negotiating and advising regarding an array of transactions with customers, suppliers, partners and license counterparties, and supporting mergers and acquisitions
- Overseeing and managing patent preparation and prosecution
- Monitoring, assessing and mitigating risk regarding third-party patents and applications
- Counseling, dispute resolution, and representing the company in disputes involving intellectual property in both administrative and other settings
- Driving IP engagement within the business
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution and undergraduate degree in engineering or technical field
- 10+ years of professional experience – including 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Currently admitted and in good standing with at least one state bar
- Currently admitted or eligible for U.S. Patent bar
- Eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance
