About the role
- DevOps Engineer enhancing cloud infrastructure for ROSE Bikes while integrating applications in the WebShop teams. Collaborating on cloud strategies and ensuring smooth system operations.
Responsibilities
- You support our cross-functional WebShop teams in integrating existing and new applications while actively sharing your in-depth expertise with team members.
- You ensure our systems and services run smoothly from local development environments, through the CI/CD pipeline, to live production.
- You actively shape and implement our short- and long-term cloud strategies.
- Together with our service provider, you are responsible for the continuous expansion of our monitoring and alerting systems.
- You actively develop our DevOps processes, tools, and system architecture.
- You will occasionally work with our on-premise infrastructure and support the integration of hybrid system landscapes.
Requirements
- At minimum, a completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification.
- You have hands-on experience in cloud and DevOps and a deep understanding of the underlying concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of common e-commerce technologies and architectures.
- You are passionate about complex systems and challenges and enjoy solving them as part of a team.
- Initial experience with CNCF tools is desirable.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
- You are familiar with PHP and PHP-based applications.
- You speak fluent German and English (C2 in spoken and written).
- You have been a resident of Germany for at least 3 years.
