Responsibilities
- Work in small, dynamic project teams with short project durations in a fast-growing industry
- Analyze customer and tender requirements and derive technical solutions and concepts
- Review and evaluate planning documents and bids for previously tendered works
- Jointly negotiate and award construction contracts in close coordination with the project manager
- Identify, collaborate with, and onboard potential partners in civil and plant construction as well as in planning services
- Coordinate and independently create site plans, facility layouts, and site designs
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets based on developed concepts and solutions
- Analyze and assess potential project risks related to construction works and derive measures to mitigate risks
- Analyze and purposefully resolve issues in designs and plans in close coordination with subcontractors and partners
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tools for the efficient execution of construction projects
- Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of scope of work
- Good knowledge of public and private construction law (BauGB, VOB/B, FIDIC, HOAI) as well as environmental law (AwSV, BImSchG, LöRüRL etc.)
- Ideally, basic knowledge of energy law
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong understanding of building systems and structures
- Experience with technical design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English; additional languages are welcome
- Strong team player, including in international teams
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
