About the role
- Registered Nurse providing triage care for adult and pediatric patients in a remote communication center. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team for effective patient assessment and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care
- Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data.
- Communicates and documents assessment with the interdisciplinary team.
- Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services.
- Complies with organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
- Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations.
- Completes at least one clinical research utilization form.
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of prior triage experience.
- Experience in adult medicine and pediatric/emergency triage settings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Strong computer skills strongly preferred.
