About the role
- Support scientific content production and dissemination for projects at RNP, managing technical knowledge and public-facing communications.
Responsibilities
- Support the production of technical content for websites and magazines
- Assist in the preparation of technical-scientific articles, technical reports and publications such as white papers
- Assist in the drafting of news items and press releases about activities and results of R&D projects
- Assist in knowledge management and cataloging of the area’s technical-scientific output
- Assist in structuring research project datasets for publication in data repositories
- Develop dissemination activities for the results of R&D projects, both internally (for RNP) and externally (for stakeholders, clients/users and the general public)
- Ensure the management of knowledge produced within RNP R&D&I projects
- Support the development and deployment of systems, web portals and/or online platforms, interacting with partners and suppliers
- Assist in organizing and running workshops, webinars, tutorials and other dissemination and training events
- Participate in project meetings
- Interact and collaborate with analysts, scholarship holders, developers and researchers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Production Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
- Prior experience in knowledge management and knowledge dissemination activities
- Experience in disseminating knowledge generated in R&D projects (e.g., producing articles, blogs, technical reports, news items, etc.)
- Experience using web conferencing tools (RNP Web Conference, MS Teams, Zoom or equivalent)
- Experience using CMS platforms (WordPress and SharePoint)
- Intermediate English skills (reading and understanding scientific texts)
- Fluency in Portuguese and strong command of formal written Portuguese
- Experience in science communication or participation in projects in the information and communication technology (ICT) area
- Desirable: Experience with online whiteboard collaboration tools (Miro, Mural, Whiteboard or equivalent)
- Skills with design and content creation tools such as Canva
- Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology
- Experience using research data repositories (Dataverse, Zenodo)
