About the role
- Procurement Officer analyzing spending data to identify cost savings and efficiencies for Rentokil Initial businesses. Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to manage contracts and performance.
Responsibilities
- Analyse spending data to identify cost savings and efficiencies across the Rentokil Initial businesses.
- Ensuring key suppliers are managed under contracts
- Supporting with supplier management on key suppliers
- Running tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking
- Managing internal processes related to data gathering
- Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Provide support when required on the management of the waste category
- Ensuring supplier management information is sent within contracted timeframes
- Managing internal trackers
- Sourcing a range of diverse and sustainable products and services
- Conducting ongoing supplier spending analysis
- Working with legal colleagues to negotiate draft contracts on service-level agreements
- Tracking and reporting on critical supplier contract performances
- Travel to suppliers
Requirements
- One year minimum experience in a previous procurement role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong IT skills in particular Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Confident in handling difficult conversations
- Strong people skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with people at all levels
- Excellent team player
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
- Full driving licence
