About the role
- Senior Controller managing cost accounting tasks in a leading manufacturer of drive solutions. Contributing to the company's growth in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Opex controlling, including budget vs. actual comparisons, variance analyses and cost-driver analyses
- Prepare monthly reports and ad-hoc analyses, including commentary on variances for operational departments and management
- Prepare budget plans and forecasts for various cost items
- Support system and process changes, particularly regarding the integration of financial/business requirements
- Work closely with production departments
- Take on additional tasks in cost accounting and corporate controlling to support RENK GmbH's overall management
- Identify optimization potential and actively participate in implementing strategic and operational improvements
Requirements
- University degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/accounting, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of solid experience in cost accounting, ideally in an international, publicly listed corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP CO) and proficient user skills in MS Excel and Power BI
- Excellent communication skills in German and, ideally, English
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly adapt to dynamic organizational structures
- Resilience, a high sense of responsibility and self-initiative
