About the role
- Senior Lawyer managing complex legal cases for Reis Advogados. Responsible for strategic management of judicial, extrajudicial, and consultative processes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical direction of complex cases, with a focus on the strategic management of litigation, extrajudicial matters and advisory work.
- Analyze documents and materials provided by clients, proposing effective defenses and legal alternatives aligned with identified risks and opportunities.
- Manage deadlines and case movements, mentor less experienced professionals and participate in strategic client meetings.
- Draft and review procedural filings, appeals and standardized templates, ensuring technical consistency and adherence to the Firm’s guidelines.
- Represent clients at all instances, including hearings, oral arguments and negotiations.
- Contribute to internal training, development of support materials and review of documents prepared by junior lawyers.
- Drive continuous process improvement, supporting ISO 9001 maintenance, identifying non-conformities and promoting corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and information security standards, safeguarding the integrity of the matters under your responsibility.
Requirements
- Law degree with active OAB registration
- Knowledge of Civil Law and Civil Procedure
- Knowledge of Banking Law
- Experience drafting and reviewing procedural filings, contracts and agreements
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
