About the role
- Director of Global Development at Redesign Health, raising capital and building healthcare ventures in India. Leading market strategies and establishing key stakeholder relationships for venture creation.
Responsibilities
- Leading efforts to raise a venture capital fund in India and build the foundation for future company creation.
- Developing and executing strategies for launching Redesign Health in India.
- Building and deepening relationships with LPs, including family offices, strategic investors, and institutional capital.
- Leading fundraising efforts — sourcing, pitching, and converting LP commitments.
- Establishing Redesign Health’s reputation in the market and positioning us for rapid execution post-fund close.
- Following the fund close, your role will transition toward building and scaling healthcare ventures in India.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in venture capital or private equity with a successful investment track record, or experience as a founder or early-stage operator, ideally with a meaningful exit.
- Strong existing network with capital allocators, healthcare systems, and/or entrepreneurs.
- Proven ability to fundraise, negotiate partnerships, and represent organizations credibly with institutional stakeholders.
- Education from a top-tier institution or equivalent professional distinction is a plus.
