About the role
- Senior Analyst evaluating credit submissions and financial information for Major Agribusiness Clients at Rabobank. Partnering with team members to enhance client relationships and provide strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with relevant Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC) team member and/or Relationship Manager to undertake the assessment of financial information and completion of the credit submissions used for MAC clients
- Assess a customer’s credit profile and provide support regarding the choice of the most appropriate loan structure
- Provide a joint recommendation for approval
- Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of credit quality and rating of the counterparty as evidenced by financial analysis and individual research
- Completion of annual credit reviews in a timely manner
- Work with the Relationship Manager and Relationship Analyst to ensure covenants/special conditions are actioned in a timely manner
- Establish strong working relationships with all stakeholders including attending client meetings where appropriate
- In conjunction with the relationship managers identify customer opportunities
- Participate in projects and/or assist the MAC Management in project and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in a banking environment with exposure to Corporate/ Institutional and/or Large Rural clients either as a credit analyst, credit approval or in another relevant capacity
