About the role
- Omnichannel Content Producer creating short-form content for QVC, HSN, and Streaming platforms. Producing a high volume of authentic content with innovative and agile methods for retail sales.
Responsibilities
- Creating a high volume of engaging and effective short-form content for a variety of platforms
- Taking an innovative, agile approach to content creation
- Researching new content trends, techniques, editing styles and gear to keep content authentic
- Working with Content Innovation Team to train, cross-train, and learn the skills of others
- Making informed decisions to continue to deliver content by expected deadlines as business needs change
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film/Video Production, Multimedia Arts, Communications or related field or relevant experience
- 5+ years proven experience producing nationally distributed video content with an emphasis on retail and commercial work
- 2+ years producing social and streaming content
- Must feel confident self-shooting social media (vertical) content, and being on-air, customer-facing
- Willingness to shoot and edit video as needed with basic proficiency with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities (while demonstrating excellent taste)
- Strong understanding of production equipment, cameras, lighting, audio recording, and terminology
- Deep understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and trends
- Must include portfolio of relevant creative video work with application
