Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner overseeing Wealth Management account opening and onboarding solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders, compliance, and technology teams for efficient delivery.
Responsibilities
Act as a Product Owner / Lead BA for Wealth Management Account Opening and Client Onboarding platforms, owning requirements from concept through delivery.
Drive solutions across digital and assisted account opening, including Individual, Joint, Trust, IRA, Corporate, and Advisory accounts.
Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to SEC, FINRA, FATCA, CRS, and regional regulatory requirements.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, compliant, and frictionless onboarding experiences.
Support Agile delivery ceremonies including PI planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and UAT.
Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect triage with business and operations teams.
Requirements
10–15+ years (with strong Wealth Management domain exposure)
10+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Wealth Management / Capital Markets
Strong hands-on experience with Account Opening or Client Onboarding platforms (digital or advisor-assisted)
In-depth knowledge of:
Brokerage & advisory business models
Client lifecycle management
Regulatory-driven onboarding controls
Proven experience working in Agile / SAFe environments as a PO or Lead BA
Strong documentation skills: BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, data mappings
Experience working with core brokerage platforms, onboarding vendors, or custom-built solutions
Ability to work closely with engineering teams to clarify requirements and support solution design
