About the role
- Senior Accounting Analyst at PPRO supporting day-to-day activities in accounting. Responsible for financial information collection, analysis, verification, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Processing general ledger transactions for several PPRO entities covering all aspects of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and supporting with reconciling accounts.
- Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards.
- Supporting Accounting Team Lead with accounts payable/accounts receivable processes as required.
- Supporting Financial Accountants with postings as required for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
- Supporting the wider accounting team in their duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or a tax consulting firm.
- Good knowledge and experience in accounting standards (IFRS/Local GAAP).
- Good communication skills and ability to work with remote teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Intermediate English.
- Interpersonal skills (including professionalism and a cooperative attitude).
- Nice-to-haves: Microsoft Dynamics experience, deeper IFRS knowledge, Intermediate Spanish.
