Responsibilities
- You hold subject-matter responsibility for the institution-wide governance and policy regime and are responsible for further developing and ensuring mandatory implementation of a unified policy framework
- You are the central point of contact for the Executive Board and all business units on governance- and policy-related matters
- You critically assess new and revised policies for coherence, consistency and systematic integration into the existing rule set
- You manage the entire end-to-end lifecycle for policies — from drafting through review and approval processes to publication and archiving
- You continuously advance our policy approach, identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities, and initiate or lead related optimization projects
Requirements
- University degree in law or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in a staff or governance role with close interaction with executive management
- Solid knowledge of operational processes as well as the development of an institution-wide governance/policy framework
- A sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong conceptual skills combined with a pragmatic, implementation-oriented approach
- Independent working style and confident prioritization even in complex situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — particularly in audience-appropriate interactions with C-level and various stakeholder groups
