About the role
- Senior Fiscal Analyst ensuring tax compliance and operational efficiency at Grupo Positivo, enhancing fiscal decisions and processes. Collaborating with internal teams and supporting strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform the calculation and review of direct and indirect taxes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Ensure timely filing and delivery of ancillary tax obligations (SPED, EFD, DCTF, among others), with a critical focus on data consistency
- Interpret and apply tax legislation, assessing impacts on operations
- Identify, analyze and mitigate tax risks
- Propose improvements to tax processes, aiming for efficiency and reduced rework
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level analysts, contributing to the team’s development
- Act in a consultative capacity with internal areas (finance, accounting, commercial), supporting decisions with tax implications
- Participate in strategic projects (new business, regulatory changes, systems implementations, restructurings)
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring the organization and quality of information
- Monitor changes in legislation and ensure correct implementation across the company
- Conduct more complex analyses (e.g., tax incentives, tax classifications, tax positions/arguments when applicable)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
- Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, analysis and reconciliation)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Totvs or similar)
- Knowledge of tax and/or tax compliance tools
- Familiarity with systems for filing ancillary tax obligations
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in taxation (preferred)
- Experience implementing or improving tax systems (preferred)
- Experience with process automation (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI or similar) (preferred)
- Experience in medium/large companies or in organizations with high tax complexity (preferred)
