About the role
- Software Engineer Principal designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for PNC's Wealth Management organization. Collaborating with diverse teams to deliver complex software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Align business strategy with software solutions.
- Propose and design complex software solutions and processes addressing complex Investments business needs.
- Solutioning new data integrations and code deployments.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL and Big Data technologies.
- Design, develop and maintain mainframe CA7 job schedules to support new and existing processes.
- Create complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to perform Data Mining/Data Analysis.
- Oversee technical and procedural documentation.
- Lead complex problem solving.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Develop and optimize Data Warehousing solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead complex Data Warehouse applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
- Perform code reviews and suggest potential improvements.
- Ensure quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.
- Implement data modeling techniques to support analytics and reporting needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Informatica ETL development and design
- Leading complex Data Warehouse applications
- CA7 Orchestration experience
- Data Warehouse experience, and working with large amounts of data
- Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop proficiency
- Experience solutioning new data integrations
- Experience with code deployment tools such as Udeploy, Artifactory, and GitHub
- Java/Spring Boot knowledge
