Responsibilities
The attorney will work actively in the Labor department, responsible for conducting and monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings from the initial phase through enforcement.
Drafting and reviewing various procedural documents, including initial petitions, defenses, submissions, appeals and other procedural acts;
Representation at labor hearings, including initial hearings, conciliation, evidentiary and trial hearings;
Development, analysis and advocacy of legal theories, with a strategic view aligned with the client’s interests;
Preparation of legal opinions and responses to internal and external inquiries;
Case monitoring using court systems and management of deadlines;
Interface with clients and internal departments, providing technical guidance and procedural updates;
Entering and maintaining information in legal management systems.
Requirements
Education: Law degree and active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
Knowledge: Proficient with the Windows operating environment and main Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and PDF software.
Essentials: Active OAB registration; previous experience in labor law consistent with a mid-level role; experience in labor litigation, handling cases at all stages; experience conducting labor hearings (initial, conciliation and evidentiary); strong command of drafting a variety of procedural documents such as initial petitions, defenses, submissions and appeals; ability to perform legal analysis, develop case theories and present technical arguments; experience preparing legal opinions; organization and control of procedural deadlines; good oral and written communication skills.
