About the role
- Advogado pleno atuando em contencioso cível para cliente da área de ensino/educação no PLC Advogados. Conhecimento em Processo Civil e audiências, em um ambiente híbrido.
Responsibilities
- Drafting procedural documents such as answers/defenses, appeals, legal opinions, etc.
- Monitoring hearing schedules and attending hearings.
- Monitoring case status via court publications and deadlines in the system, at all stages of the opposing party's proceedings.
- Entering and maintaining data in internal and external systems.
- Monitoring emails and preparing legal opinions/memos.
- Client liaison and communication.
Requirements
- Education: Law degree and active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Knowledge: Proficient user of the Windows environment and core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF tools.
- Essential: Experience handling defense (passive) litigation and conducting/attending hearings. Solid knowledge of Civil Procedure.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Advwin and Elaw systems. Experience with matters related to educational institutions.
