About the role
- Network Administrator maintaining and further developing network infrastructures and security solutions. Collaborating in IT security projects while ensuring network traffic monitoring and analysis in Hamburg.
Responsibilities
- Administration and further development of the network infrastructure (switches, routers, VLANs, routing, WLAN)
- Operation and maintenance of security solutions (firewalls, NAC, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Implementation of network security concepts as well as monitoring and analysis of network traffic
- Troubleshooting and remediation of network incidents
- Support for IT security projects and audits
- Documentation of infrastructure and processes
Requirements
- Completed IT training or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in network administration
- Strong knowledge of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPN, WLAN, 802.1X)
- Basic understanding of IT security standards and concepts
- Analytical mindset, structured working style and strong service orientation
- Team player with enthusiasm for working in a collaborative environment
