Marketing Copywriter Intern creating persuasive copy for B2C and B2B communications. Collaborating with the Copy team in a hybrid internship position in San Diego.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Copy team to develop engaging and persuasive copy for both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) communications.
Assist in writing and editing copy for emails, SMS texts, web, print/catalog, paid and organic social, product descriptions and more.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and help generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
Ensure all copy aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice.
Participate in the review and feedback process to refine and enhance copy effectiveness.
Proofread all pieces for accuracy and tone.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and copywriting.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field, with an expected graduation conferral date between Winter 2026-Spring 2027.
Able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer internship between May through September 2026.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms.
Creativity and a passion for storytelling through written content.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
