About the role
- Accountant supporting day-to-day General Accounting operations, working for PHOENIX Business Services with an international team. Involves collaboration for problem resolution, process controls, and improving efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day General Accounting operations for Month-end-close journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting
- Perform Manual General Ledger postings
- Provide quality support to Audit and Control
- Collaborate with other functions/teams for problem resolution or process controls
- Assist in implementing initiatives for improving efficiency and/or effectiveness of General Accounting transactions
Requirements
- Degree in Economics or Business Administration, preferably with a major in accounting
- Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the area of accounting
- Experience in GA, AP and AR processes in a complex and international business environment is advantageous
- Experience working with SAP or OpenAccounts is an advantage
- Experienced knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes
- Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken).
