About the role
- Lead regional access strategy to maximize growth within international IDM markets at Pfizer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive access initiatives and represent Pfizer externally.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering access across Pfizer’s portfolio to drive growth within international IDM markets
- Act as GAV representative to the IDM Leadership Team and International Commercial Office Leadership Team
- Monitor access and pricing regulations in key markets
- Partner with GAV Business Units, ICO and Countries
- Identify new and innovative ways to accelerate access and reduce time to listing across IDM markets
- Maintain expertise in country payer environments to identify specific risks and opportunities
- Support key regional, above-brand access-related projects
- Represent Pfizer position in external engagement e.g. EFPIA market access Working Group
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in healthcare environment, preferably pharmaceutical industry or related consulting services
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced degree in a healthcare, business or economic field strongly preferred (PhD, MD or MBA)
- Country Market Access experience required
- Knowledge and understanding of the drug development process
- Pharmaceutical business leadership, including experience in strategy development and interaction with external customers
- Strong commercial acumen; familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes
- Knowledge of key measures used by payers to evaluate innovation including RWE, HE/OR, PE (CE/BI) models
