About the role

  • Automation Specialist designing and maintaining n8n workflows to enhance operations at a pet marketplace group. Collaborating across teams to improve efficiency in processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain n8n workflows that automate internal processes across marketing, support, operations, and finance
  • Connect APIs and data sources such as HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Google Sheets, Stripe, Typeform, and our internal systems
  • Collaborate with PMG stakeholders across markets to analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and build scalable automation solutions
  • Implement strong error handling, retry logic, and logging in all automations to ensure reliability and transparency
  • Maintain clear documentation and reusable components to accelerate automation adoption across teams
  • Stay on top of automation best practices and new capabilities — and help PMG continuously improve its automation infrastructure
  • Partner with engineers, analysts, and product managers to prototype and ship internal tools powered by automation

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with n8n in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, JSON, and workflow design
  • Experience automating processes across common SaaS tools like HubSpot, Airtable, Slack, Notion, Stripe, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to write and debug JavaScript functions
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills — you can translate complex systems into clear automation logic
  • A structured, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a “builder’s mindset” — you thrive on making things faster, smarter, and simpler
  • Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, or simple ETL processes (bonus)
  • Understanding of marketplace operations, payment flows, or growth automation (bonus)
  • Prior work in multi-country marketplaces or SaaS environments (bonus)
