About the role
- GL Accountant improving General Ledger processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives for Perrigo in Poland. Responsible for month-end close and SAP reporting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution of General Ledger continues improvement activities
- Consolidate and own R2R Continues Improvement Agenda (processes & systems)
- Create Excel automations based on macro solutions
- Act as Cadency System Administrator, support business users' queries
- Drive Cadency standard process and accounts mapping in line with Global Policy
- Create standard process guideline for Cadency journal entry technical bottlenecks resolution
- Contribute to the month-end close process, including posting entries in accordance with US GAAP
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
- Additional Accounting Certification would be a plus
- Solid knowledge of Finance and General Ledger
- At least 3 years experience in similar role within Business Shared Service Centre
- Prior standalone execution of continues improvements and projects delivery
- Proactive in driving change
- Familiarity with Cadency or Blackline
- Ability to design process maps (Visio/PPT)
- SAP Finance experience
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Advanced command of Excel, incl. macros/VBA
