About the role
- Operational Officer handling purchase-to-pay processes and stakeholder coordination for BASF Coatings. Collaborating on procurement strategies and resolving supply-related issues in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute the purchase-to-pay process with day-to-day operational tasks (e.g. generate Purchase Orders, process Purchase Requisitions).
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (requisitioners, buyers, vendors, …) and solve supply-related issues.
- Coordinate order intake and complete master data maintenance including document collection (e.g. certificates).
- Train internal stakeholders to follow procurement guidelines and to use proper platform for request raising.
- Support in the implementation of procurement strategies.
- Coordinate non-conformity investigations with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar field.
- Proven working experience in Procurement, Sales or Supply Chain.
- Indirect Procurement experience is a plus.
- Skilled with ERP system.
- SAP purchase-to-pay module experience is a plus.
- Good English and Spanish skills in both writing and speaking.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communicator with a service-oriented mindset, able to independently resolve inquiries and collaborate effectively with colleagues globally.
