About the role
- Architectural Sales Consultant driving sales by developing relationships with architects and designers. Support the architectural community in selecting fenestration products and provide education training.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by developing relationships with architects and designers within the luxury residential and light commercial markets.
- Assist Architectural and Design Professionals with their selection of fenestration products.
- Influence product specification by offering technical consultation and problem solving during the early design stages.
- Work closely with the regional sales team and our distribution network to ensure timely estimating for projects.
- Provide product education training to architects.
- Conduct AIA Continuing Education Lunch and Learn programs in accordance with AIA/CES guidelines.
- Actively participate and support industry associations such as AIA, CSI, CRAN, etc.
- Occasionally act as a field representative during onsite surveys, field testing and preinstallation meetings.
- Offer support and back-up to the rest of the regional sales team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.
- Prefer five or more years of sales or industry experience within the A&D community.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, registered and insured motor vehicle in compliance with state and company requirements.
- CDT or CCPR is preferred.
