About the role
- Junior SAP BTP Consultant supporting and developing SAP landscapes in cloud environments for medium-sized companies. Focus on migrations, integrations, and innovative SAP services.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing system landscapes and define BTP architectures.
- Derive technical and functional requirements.
- Create solution designs for integrations, extensions, and cloud workloads.
- Support migration and innovation projects.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and technical reviews.
- Advise on security and identity management (IAS/IPS, OAuth, trust).
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Support operational concepts, e.g., multi-tenancy, tenant isolation and governance.
- Integrate SAP and non‑SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite.
Requirements
- Initial experience with at least one BTP development model (CAP, UI5, Node.js/Java, Kyma) and basic experience with cloud architectures (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Basic knowledge of Git, DevOps, and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Project Piper).
- Basic understanding of identity and access management.
- Occasional on-call duty (24/7) with appropriate compensation.
- Language skills: written and spoken German (native level) and English (business proficient).
