About the role
- Project Architect providing project-wide design and technical leadership at Parkhill, an architectural and engineering firm. Active involvement from programming to construction administration in civic-based projects.
Responsibilities
- Provides project-wide design and technical leadership
- Actively participates in project development from programming/conceptual design through construction administration
- Serves as Professional of Record on projects of various scales and complexity
- Partners with Project Managers in development and maintenance of scope, budget, schedule, and labor resource plans
- Translates project scope into coordinated deliverables and documentation strategies
- Prepares, reviews and oversees production of drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation
- Documents code review and compliance.
Requirements
- Registered Architect in state of Texas or able to get through reciprocity
- 5-10 years of experience of civic-based design
- Demonstrated capability to assume project-wide architectural responsibility
- Proficiency with architectural design software, including Revit, Sketchup, MOS, and Bluebeam.
