About the role
- Information Governance Manager for Paramount Global overseeing compliance and management of electronic and physical information. Collaborating with legal, IT, and other stakeholders to safeguard data retention and governance.
Responsibilities
- Support and update existing information governance processes.
- Conduct periodic reviews of retention policy with vendors and counsel.
- Provide information governance and retention guidance as necessary.
- Assess onboarding software/tools for compliance.
- Support routine disposition process to ensure data is not destroyed.
- Spearhead Information Governance projects to efficiently identify and organize business records.
- Implement automated processes/software for declaring business records and defensible destruction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Management or a related field.
- 7+ years of direct experience in information governance.
- Experience creating and delivering robust training programs.
- Experience with M365, Google Vault, and associated best practices.
- Broad knowledge of compliance tools and processes.
- Knowledge of relevant laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and best practices relating to information governance and records retention.
- High-quality writing and verbal communication skills.
- High-quality analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with professionalism and attention to detail.
