About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and optimize propulsion system components with a focus on performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Lead the development of mechanical designs, including detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and GD&T application
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation such as specifications, assembly procedures, and design justifications
- Support propulsion system integration and layout planning within the overall vehicle architecture
- Collaborate with propulsion engineers and analysts to iterate and improve designs based on test and simulation feedback
- Coordinate with suppliers and machine shops to ensure feasibility and quality in manufacturing
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years in mechanical design, preferably in the space sector
- Strong skills in CAD design (preferably Siemens NX)
- Familiarity with PLM tools (preferably Teamcenter)
- Proficiency in ISO GPS, tolerance analysis, and creation of accurate technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of DfM principles, including tolerance analysis, material selection, and process limitations
- Experience preparing technical documentation, including specifications and design files
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is a plus
