Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar discipline required.
- Minimum of 10-years managerial experience within the property/casualty insurance industry, preferably within commercial lines (i.e. Underwriting Manager, Territory Manager, etc.).
- Proven experience in the cultivation, establishment and retention of solid agency and customer relationships required.
- Proven ability in leading personnel towards the attainment of operational and strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated mastery of underwriting concepts and principles, with a focus on commercial lines.
- Exceptional knowledge of company underwriting standards and philosophy.
- Exceptional knowledge of all commercial and personal lines insurance coverages.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Good PC skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.
