Complete Budget Composition: Structure detailed project budgets, consolidating information on equipment, materials, services, taxes and other financial and operational factors.
Definition of Financial Models: Prepare cost projections considering the technology employed, business model, contract duration, tariffing, taxation and contribution margins.
Interaction with Internal Departments: Work in synergy with Engineering, Procurement, Legal and Finance to align budgets and processes, supporting integration between planning and contract execution.
Interface with Designers and Engineering: Collaborate in the preparation of technical descriptions, operating manuals and treatment processes, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
Contract Monitoring: Keep Project Managers and Executive Management informed about budgeting processes and contractual costs, providing data on scope, financial impacts and performance projections.
Technical Visits and Supplier Relations: Conduct visits to clients and partners to exchange technical information and contribute to the development and qualification of strategic suppliers.
Cost Database Management: Monitor and update prices of equipment, materials and systems, ensuring reliability in estimates.
Market and Competitor Monitoring: Report market trends, competitor strategies and product receptivity, supporting commercial and strategic decisions.
Compliance with Standards and Procedures: Operate in compliance with internal policies and the Integrated Management System (IMS) regulations, promoting safety, environment and social responsibility.
Technical Updating and Innovation: Keep up with new technologies and best practices, contributing insights and improvements to budgeting processes.
Requirements
**__Academic Background__**
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Process Engineering or other engineering fields compatible with the role.
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Engineering Economics, Corporate Finance, Energy Management or related areas (desirable).
**__Technical Competencies__**
Proven experience in preparing budgets for large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the biogas, biomethane, oil & gas, renewable energy or industrial infrastructure sectors.
In-depth knowledge of CapEx and OpEx for industrial plants, including cost estimating methodologies, financial feasibility analysis and project economic modeling.
Mastery in cost composition for industrial plants, with focus on oil & gas processes, biogas and biomethane generation, including civil works, earthworks, electromechanical assembly, piping, instrumentation, automation, logistics and commissioning.
Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including ABNT, ANP, IBAMA, environmental and occupational safety standards (NRs), building codes and regulator guidelines.
Experience in preparing and analyzing technical-commercial proposals, interpreting tenders and contracts, identifying risks and assessing technical and financial feasibility.
Ability to perform comparative cost analyses and engineering alternatives, evaluating economic impact and project efficiency.
Knowledge in supplier management and procurement processes, including proposal analysis and strategic negotiations.
**__Tools and Software__**
Advanced Excel, including VBA for spreadsheet automation, cost modeling and scenario simulation.
MS Project for planning and control of physical-financial schedules.
Budgeting and cost software such as TOTVS RM, SAP (MM and PS modules), Sienge, SINAPI, TCPO or similar (desirable).
Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools (such as Navisworks, Revit or SolidWorks) for project interpretation (desirable).
Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools for financial and performance data analysis.
**__Minimum Experience__**
3 to 5 years of experience in cost engineering, cost planning or related roles in industrial projects.
Experience in the biogas, biomethane, oil & gas, renewable energy, infrastructure or process industries is a plus.
Experience with financial modeling for strategic decision-making in capital-intensive projects.
