About the role

Senior Softwaretester focusing on test automation for a software company. Collaborating in QA to enhance product quality using AI-supported methodologies.

Responsibilities

You will expand our test automation with a clear focus on scalability, stability and AI-assisted methods.
At the same time, you will provide operational support to our existing QA team and help raise the quality of our products to the next level.
Your work will be focused primarily on automated tests (E2E, integration, regression); manual testing is used only as a supplement.
You will be responsible for the design, expansion and maintenance of our test automation frameworks.
In addition, you will actively apply AI for test case generation, error analysis, test data and to improve test coverage.
You will work closely with Development, Product Management and DevOps.
You will also provide technical support and coaching to the existing QA team (currently 5 testers).
Furthermore, you will contribute to shaping test strategies, standards and best practices.

You have several years of professional experience as a Senior Software Tester / QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer.
You also bring very strong practical experience in test automation (e.g., Ranorex, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, API testing).
You have experience building maintainable and scalable test architectures.
In addition, you can demonstrate practical, hands-on AI experience in software testing.
You have a very good technical understanding of software architectures, APIs, databases and CI/CD pipelines.
You have experience working in agile development teams (Scrum or Kanban).
You demonstrate a high standard of quality as well as a structured and self‑reliant way of working.
You enjoy sharing knowledge within the team.
You have very good German language skills (at least C1).
