About the role

Responsibilities
- Define and implement testing strategies for cloud operations and platform engineering.
- Establish best practices for performance, resilience, and disaster recovery testing.
- Conduct end-to-end and cross-service integration tests across microservices, APIs, and infrastructure layers.
- Simulate real-world failure modes and validate auto-healing mechanisms.
- Perform chaos engineering experiments to validate recovery objectives and RTO/RPO targets.
- Drive test automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Validate adherence to regulatory standards and ensure secure configurations.
- Provide technical guidance on modern test tooling, automation techniques, and best practices.
- Partner with development, platform, and operations teams to integrate testing into SDLC.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the automation strategy, tools, and processes.
- Stay on top of the latest trends in test automation and integrate innovative approaches to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive innovation in test methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent practical work experience in lieu of a degree
- 6+ years in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Hands on experience in developing and implementing test strategies, roadmaps, and operational excellence plans
- Proven leadership in automation strategy, team development, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong communication skills with executive presence and stakeholder influence.
