About the role
- Cloud Infrastructure Engineer designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for logistics applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Manage cloud resources using the cloud providers native tools, Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Implement and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, and peering.
- Leverage cloud-native services within the cloud platform to improve operations, reduce costs, or enhance security.
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows servers.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Configure cloud resources to follow standard frameworks such as CIS Foundations Benchmark 3.0 for AWS and Azure public cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with internal company policies.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in administrating AWS environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with Cloud CLI
- Experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code
- Understanding of cloud networking (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs,)
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration in cloud
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM best
