About the role
- Consultant overseeing power line construction projects in Leipzig, Germany. Involves technical support and project management for infrastructural developments.
Responsibilities
- Consulting on and supervising overhead line construction projects — especially during installation and dismantling work, stringing operations, and special projects.
- Technical support to construction and project management for complex tasks during the execution phase.
- Preparation of and contribution to technical concepts such as crossing protection, stringing, or grounding/earthing concepts.
- Conducting project site inspections and developing technical concepts as part of tender/bid processes.
- Participation in innovation projects as well as planning and organizing pilot trials.
- Temporary assumption of leadership responsibilities, e.g., in the event of short-term absence of site or project managers.
Requirements
- Completed technical education/degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or similar)
- Several years of experience in site/project management, ideally in infrastructure, energy, or line construction
- Strong technical understanding and high advisory competence
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to travel within Germany, and possibly internationally
