About the role
- Senior SAP BASIS Consultant focusing on the architecture of SAP solutions in various environments. Collaborating closely with teams and clients on optimizing and developing SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Planning, designing, implementing and further developing the architecture of SAP landscapes (on-premises, cloud, hybrid)
- Administration and monitoring of SAP system landscapes (ERP, BW, HANA, S/4HANA & HCM)
- Implementation and maintenance of security policies as well as user and authorization management
- IT service continuity management: development of disaster recovery plans (DRP) and execution of tests
- Support for migration projects and cloud integration
- Creation and maintenance of system documentation
- Collaboration with business units and external service providers
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science or equivalent training
- Several years of professional experience in the SAP Basis environment, ideally as a project or subproject manager
- Solid knowledge in the administration of SAP operating systems, databases (HANA, Oracle, etc.) and operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux)
- Experience in SAP installations and upgrades, migrations and system copies
- Good knowledge of SAP security and authorization management
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and ILM is an advantage
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
