About the role
- Join Obsidian Digital as a Video Editor, delivering high-quality, high-volume video assets. Work in a collaborative environment to enhance marketing performance for Northern European clients.
Responsibilities
- Support the DaaS model, ensuring a smooth, continuous flow of creative output.
- Execute a steady stream of diverse video tasks sequentially like social video ads, Reels, TikToks, and motion branding assets.
- Receive briefs, share drafts, and communicate daily via Slack for agile communication.
- Implement feedback quickly to master the feedback loop, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Translate fast-paced briefs into functional, visually compelling video narratives that capture attention and drive conversions.
- Work across multiple client portfolios, adhering to diverse brand guidelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, ideally within an agency or fast-paced in-house team.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects (knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or audio editing basics is a plus).
- A strong body of work demonstrating creative editing and commercial awareness.
- Fluent in English with the ability to articulate pacing and editing decisions clearly.
- Understanding the difference between pure art and performance-driven editing.
