About the role
- Senior Controller overseeing finance operations and reporting for Oatsome, ensuring growth through informed financial strategies. Collaborating across departments to improve liquidity and performance.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for controlling our business cases and assessing the financial performance of our business units
- You will further develop our existing company-wide controlling and produce meaningful reports with relevant KPIs for management, banks and investors
- You will own our liquidity planning and ensure cash flow, financing and refinancing are always monitored
- You will develop financing and refinancing strategies that support our long-term growth
- You will act as the central point of contact for financial processes and outcomes and prepare decision-making materials for management
- You will serve as an interface to other departments, particularly for revenue, budget and liquidity planning processes, such as our monthly Sales & Operations Planning process
- You will define, optimize and automate our finance processes with a focus on efficiency, scalability and transparency
- You will lead our finance team
Requirements
- You have a degree in economics, finance or controlling — or you can otherwise convince us of your skills
- You have several years of controlling experience
- You have experience in the finance function of a company with physical products and understand the relationships between inventory flows, margins and liquidity
- You are an Excel expert and know how to visualize data appropriately for different audiences
- You have solid accounting knowledge and ideally have experience working with DATEV
- Thanks to your excellent team and communication skills, you collaborate easily and effectively with different stakeholders
- You work reliably and consistently and strike the right balance between attention to detail and the big picture
- You think entrepreneurially and are eager to develop a holistic view across the whole company
- Initial leadership experience is a plus; more important to us are your potential and motivation to dive into the role
