Responsibilities
Advise managers and HR colleagues on labor law matters
Collaborate with the works council on co-determination issues, especially for projects, restructurings, and company agreements
Develop and implement strategies to promote positive labor relations
Support conflict resolution processes
Ensure compliance with labor law regulations and internal policies
Implement global HR projects in accordance with the German Works Constitution Act (BetrVG)
Negotiate and coordinate with works councils as part of international and local HR initiatives
Represent the company in labor law disputes, including coordination with in-house and external legal counsel
Draft and review labor law documents (e.g., employment contracts, warnings, terminations)
Deliver training sessions on labor law topics for managers and HR staff
Support labor law and employee relations matters in other European countries in coordination with local HR and legal teams.
Requirements
Degree in law, business law, human resources management, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in labor law / employee relations
Deep knowledge of German labor law and the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Structured, solution-oriented working style
Business-fluent German and English (spoken and written)
