About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks for NOV applications. Driving delivery efficiency, security, and production readiness in partnership with the SRE team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical contributor within the DevOps team, guiding best practices in automation, CI/CD design, and infrastructure-as-code
- Influence architecture decisions that impact deployment speed and reliability
- Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalability, security, observability, and repeatability across environments
- Partner with engineering teams to translate application requirements into automated, production-ready delivery workflows
- Improve deployment stability by enhancing validation gates, testing automation, release processes, and configuration management practices
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles with hands-on ownership of production delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure
- CI/CD & Automation: Designing and operating scalable pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
- Containers & Orchestration: Building and deploying containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (or equivalent orchestration platforms)
- Cloud Platforms: Operating production workloads in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Observability & Monitoring: Integrating metrics, logging, and alerting solutions such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms into deployment workflows
- Source Control & Branching Strategies: Strong Git proficiency and experience with trunk-based development, Gitflow, or comparable branching models
- Infrastructure & Virtualization: Experience with infrastructure-as-code and virtualized or container-based environments
