Responsibilities
- Specialize in various types of automated electrical/mechanical components and manufacturing equipment/facilities
- Review existing manufacturing equipment and become familiar with OEM’s manufacturing build protocol
- Ensure that the correct preventative maintenance procedures are in place
- Develop and implement machine monitoring strategies
- Prepare presentations and reports detailing the Operational Equipment Effectiveness on assets you support
- Aid in developing standard specifications for future equipment purchases
Requirements
- Level 2 Bachelor's degree in STEM, with a minimum 2 years of related engineering experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with manufacturing processes, equipment, or manufacturing facilities support/maintenance
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment
- Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance with the capability for SAP access.
- Level 3 Bachelor's degree in STEM, with a minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or 1 year with a PhD.
- Ability to negotiate and consult with vendors as required to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
