About the role
- Performance QA Engineer at Pwrteams delivering high-quality software solutions for diverse global clients with a focus on performance testing and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Act as a valued member of the team with personal ownership for delivering high‑quality software as efficiently as possible
- Identify, analyze, and clarify performance‑related requirements
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute performance test scenarios
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and provide clear, actionable reports
- Ensure transparent communication and maintain strong visibility of testing activities with key stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in performance testing
- Hands-on experience with JMeter and performance test frameworks
- Experience with database performance testing, including query optimization, load analysis, and monitoring (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, or similar)
- Ability to work independently in a structured manner, proactively seeking clarifications and escalating issues when needed
- Experience working with JIRA and within Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Creativity, flexibility, and strong analytical thinking
