Hazardous Materials Manager ensuring safe and compliant use of hazardous materials at Nordex. Support teams worldwide and strengthen standards for safe operations in various environments.
Responsibilities
Manage global hazardous materials management tools and processes to ensure evaluation before material use
Coordinate improvement projects related to hazardous materials and dangerous goods
Create and update datasets, operating instructions and training materials for hazardous materials
Support engineers on hazardous-material topics in product design and industrialization projects
Advise on regulations such as REACH, OSHA and ADR for labeling, transport, handling, storage and disposal
Monitor regulatory changes, communicate updates and ensure compliance across the organization
Ensure internal audit schedules include hazardous-material topics and support internal and external audits
Prepare reports on hazardous-material usage according to legislative requirements
Requirements
University degree in engineering or a comparable technical field; HSE advisor training or equivalent
Additional environmental qualification is an advantage
High level of English (working language)
At least two years of experience as a hazardous materials or dangerous goods advisor is desirable
Strong IT, communication and facilitation skills
Ability to work effectively in teams and in intercultural environments
Logical and data‑driven approach to problem‑solving
Willingness to travel 15–30 percent
