About the role
- Investment Proposal Specialist in the asset management industry, preparing responses to RFPs and DDQs. Collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality client proposals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate high-quality and timely responses to RFPs and DDQs for institutional and discretionary clients, with a particular focus on Multi Asset strategies;
- Collaborate closely with sales, product management, investment teams, and other stakeholders across NAM;
- Ensure responses are accurate while being commercially impactful;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of RFP processes, tools and content frameworks with a focus on AI-driven efficiencies;
- Proactively manage your internal clients (sales, Country Heads) and stakeholders (portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, senior management, etc.) in order to ensure a smooth RFP delivery process and issue management;
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of NAM’s investment capabilities and product offering with key focus on the multi-asset/risk premia and systematic capabilities;
- Develop expertise in areas such as: Asset management and fund strategies, Sustainability and ESG integration, Risk and performance metrics, Financial instruments and markets, GIPS composites and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role (RFP specialist, investment writer or proposal specialist) within asset management or other financial services areas
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law or a related field
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex investment topics
- Strong interest in asset management and financial markets
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high quality standards
- Comfortable learning and working with new tools and systems and able to identify opportunities to use AI tools in your day-to-day.
