About the role
- Engineer or Engineer specializing in building mechanics at Norda Stelo, overseeing projects from client needs to delivery while ensuring quality and budget adherence.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the management of building mechanical projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality)
- Gather and analyze client requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions
- Coordinate and prepare the design of mechanical drawings and specifications in collaboration with engineers, technicians, and drafters
- Plan, organize and lead coordination meetings with architects, clients, and partners
- Ensure quality control of technical deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports, studies)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in building mechanical systems, including project coordination or management
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- ASP Construction certification for the general construction site Health and Safety course
- Strong command of French, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (asset)
- Able to work independently and take initiative
