About the role
- Copywriter creating and transcreating marketing content for NordVPN in Berlin. Collaborating with various teams and ensuring quality in multiple formats and languages.
Responsibilities
- Adapt and transcreate marketing materials, including website content, app interfaces, PPC ads, and campaigns from English into German, ensuring market relevance for Nord Security products.
- Create blog posts based on briefs and suggest ideas for new content.
- Proofread German content, monitor content across websites and apps, and provide feedback to maintain quality.
- Develop content for external partners, including advertorials, newsletter copy, or similar materials for affiliates and influencers.
- Support the PR department with transcreations of press releases.
- Transform complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages that inspire action.
- Switch between writing styles and formats to meet the needs of different audiences.
- Stay updated on technology, cybersecurity, travel, and innovation trends.
Requirements
- 1+ years of full-time copywriting and/or localization/translation experience (freelance or employed) with a portfolio or content links.
- Interested in the close collaboration with other departments like, SEO, Influencers and Affiliates teams and willing to take on related tasks to support local market development
- Fluent English skills.
- Basic SEO knowledge; GEO knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with translation tools (e.g., Crowdin) or project management tools (e.g., Jira) is welcome but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Ability to collaborate with local and global teams, as well as other departments (SEO, Influencers, Affiliates).
